Today was my first day back to work after being off for Christmas break. You know how I got to start my Monday off?? Getting one of my wisdom teeth pulled!! OUCH! I remembered very quickly why I hate going to the dentist and why I've avoided it for a ridiculous amount of time. But it had broken off and was only half there and was making my whole jaw and head hurt, so it was time to do something about it. Justin went in the room with me and wanted to video tape it, if you can believe it! Haha I said oh definitely not. So instead he just stood there over the doc's shoulder and watched. Weird. It was awful, and I'm sooooooo glad that it's over with!!
My first day back to work went well, considering the sore mouth, though, so that was good! And now Monday is over, and that is ALWAYS a plus! Only 4 more days to get through before the weekend, not that I'm counting or anything. ;) But, it is a bummer because Justin worked this past weekend, and this coming, although he's "off" he has to go to drill in Topeka, so I still won't be able to hang out with him. :( At least he is now back on days (for 4 weeks) so we'll be able to go to bed at the same time! Oh the little things!!
We only have 3.5 days before the big SONO!! We are soooo excited to be able to see our little one again, and of course be able to find out the sex! I'm thrilled that my parents and Justin's dad are going to be able to attend it with us too! I was trying to think of something "fun" that I could do to reveal the gender to them all, but that was more when I was hoping we'd be able to find out before Christmas. But we didn't. So I figured since I could ask 3-4 people that what better way to surprise them than to let them come with us and see the little one for themselves!! I'm really excited that they are all going to be able to come. :)
My SILs are planning my baby shower in March, and we did a lot of talking about it throughout today. I am getting so excited for it already!! Just thinking about all the fun/cute things we could do and having everyone there to celebrate our little miracle... Oh I can't wait! I think it's great that they all volunteered to throw it for me. I got pretty darn lucky with them, that's for sure! :)
My long lost BFF Tara, originally from here, but moved to NC, will be home for a visit in 2 weeks!!! I cannot wait for that! It's been forever since I've seen her and her hubby! Then she will be MOVING back end of Feb/beginning of March. THAT I am SUPER pumped for! It totally blows that it's because her hubby is deploying for a year, but I'm going to looovveee having her around again!! It's been several years since we've lived in the same area, so we're both getting pretty excited for her return. :)
Well not much else to report on right now. I'm sure I'll either update later this week, or definitely on Friday after we get our big news! :)
Love <3
