It's my BIRTHDAY!!!!
And yet it still doesn't even feel like it! I think it's because I'm past all the "fun" birthday's so I've hit that time when birthday's become 'just another day'. My hubby has definitely made it feel like my birthday though! :) I think he's made this one the best one yet for sure! All of my friends/family/co-workers have done a GREAT job of making me feel very special!! It's been a wonderful day so far and it's only noon! :)
I got pink roses stuck in my steering wheel yesterday when I came out from work. :) I really thought those were my birthday flowers because Justin had to work today. Turns out, I was wrong!! They really were "just because" flowers. :) :) :) I woke up this morning and had the sweetest text from him telling me how much he loved me and how he hoped my day was wonderful. :) I got to work and I had a confetti cake in the break room in all PINK! :) Also with a card from the people at work. Justin's aunt Cathy made the cake. :) It was YUMMY!!! Then my boss baked me a chocolate cake that said Happy Birthday & Go Cats!! :) It was sooooo good too. She also brought chocolate cupcakes! Talk about sugar overload!! Then Justin sent me a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of lilies and daisies. Omg it is GORGEOUS! I am so in love and so thankful. Justin is taking me to Fat Boyz tonight for dinner. I can hardly wait for that! I lovvveeee FB! Their food is awesome!
I just feel like such a lucky girl. I don't know what I did to deserve so many wonderful things and people in my life but I am so thankful. This birthday really has felt like the best one yet. I have so many things in my life to be thankful for. I have this permanent smile on my face because I just feel so loved by everyone.
Other than that, nothing really new going on. Baby girl is moving sooooo much more every single day. It still makes me smile every time it happens. I'm getting good at predicting her schedule. Knowing when she's asleep and when she will be waking up and becoming active. It's amazing how it's like clockwork! We go back to the doc a week from today, for the usual 4 week appt. We should be able to set up our 3D/4D sono then! I'm hoping for the first/second week of March. I want to be able to have some of the pics to put up at my baby shower on March 20th. Hopefully we get some good shots! After that appt, I should be starting the every 2 weeks appts. It's crazy to think in just a few weeks I'll be in my 3rd & final trimester already! It feels like it's flying by! :) I can't wait to have that precious girl in my arms.
We've had a mess with her crib. We ordered one at the beginning of Jan. and the one we got wasn't even close to the right one. So we called back and they sent the right one and we sent the wrong one back. Got the right crib about a week later, was so excited to see it was exactly right. Even the color matches really well to the changing table/dresser we already had. I was so excited!! Justin started to put it together and realized they sent us 2 of the same front leg, instead of opposites, so the holes are wrong. So we have to wait FOUR weeks now for them to send us the right leg so MAYBE we can finally get it put together! We're hoping it should be here around the middle of Feb. I can't believe we're only a few days away from Feb. already!! It felt like it was going to take forever to get to this point, and now here it is! I'm getting more and more excited by the day.
Well, I suppose I better head back to work, since I've just been home on my lunch. Just wanted to update real quick about how AWESOME my day and my life as a whole is! :)
