So I haven't been real great about keeping up. Bleh. I really meant to, but it seemed like anytime I thought about doing it, I wasn't near a computer so I couldn't. I hate that, but it is what it is I guess. Anyway, let's see... last week not a whole lot happened. Went to work all week and it was actually a pretty good week! Justin had to work this past weekend, but at least it was days so he was home in the evenings at least. :) Saturday I went to Mac and got a massage from Heidi. Omg it was amazing.... I wish I could get one every day!! :) It felt soooooo good. Yesterday, Sunday, was Mother's Day. It was a hard day because I definitely missed my mom... I wish I could've taken her out for lunch and spent the day with her... It was tough. I definitely missed her, but that's not anything new either. I did get to go to lunch with my SILs and my MIL and my MILs mother. We had a really good time. It was nice to get out and do something with the girls. :)
Went back to the doc today, not a whole lot changed. I was just over a 2 and still 50% effaced. She did say baby's head was "right there" though so I guess she has moved down even further. :) My BP was 150/100 though so they were concerned about that and because of the swelling I've had for so many weeks. The nurse took it again after about 10 min. didn't tell me what it was that time, but went to talk to the doc and came back and said doc wanted me to go to L&D to be monitored and that was "officially on bed rest". Kinda bummed out I won't get to finish out the school year, especially since there's only 8.5 days left. I went to the hospital and they monitored me and baby, did U/S, I got to see her back and her head. lol she had her face hidden, like usual, and b/c she is so low we couldn't see much, but she is doing GREAT, and that's all I care about. So they checked my BP several times and it did come down, so once they drew blood, and ran labs, they said everything looked good. So I got to go home after about 2.5 hours. I'm just glad things are ok. So I have to go back on Thurs. afternoon to my doc's office to do a non-stress test and have my BP checked again, so I guess we'll see how things go from there.
So, I've just been taking it easy today. Waiting to see if this little girl is going to make her appearance anytime soon! I certainly hope so. I want her to stay as long as she needs to, but I can hope she comes soon!! :) haha So, I guess we'll see what happens in the next few days!! I just hope she either comes in the next few days or she stays put until at least Sunday night. Justin has drill in Topeka, and I don't want to have to worry about him not being here!!
Well, I suppose that's really the only update I have for now. Since I can't go to work now, I should have time to update this, but then again, staying home all the time, I'm not sure I'll have much to update on!! lol :)
