We went to the KSU spring game today!!! We started the day off by getting up at 6am!! Let me tell ya, I haven't seen 6am in a loonnngggg time! Better get used to it huh? We got up and around and went and ate at The Chef. Yuuummmmm... It is soooo good! After we ate, we went out to the superstore and did a little shopping. I got a pair of KSU sweats for $13! So comfy! :) Then we went to the motel to wait for Mark & Earl to get there. Once they did, we went over and picked up Brock and headed to the game. We got parked and situated a little after 10am. It was a little chilly and pretty windy, but it had warmed up quite a bit by the time the game started. My parents got there around 10:30-11. We hung out and then bbq'd. It was awesome. :) Went into the game and had pretty good seats. It was fun to be back in the stadium again. We had a really good time. My feet got a little sunburnt and they were HUGE by the time the game was over, just from sitting on the bleachers for so long, but it was worth it. :) We went back to the motel after the game and took a little snooze for a couple hours and I put my feet up with ice on them. They went down a little bit, but not a whole lot. lol Then, we went out to eat at Little Apple Brewery for dinner. Soooo yummy. Justin and I used to go there alllll the time when we lived in Manhattan. I think it's his favorite. lol It was really good, as usual. After dinner we went out to the 'Ville. We only went to 2 bars before I decided that my feet weren't doin' so hott. It was just before midnight, so made it quite awhile!! lol The girls decided they were sleepy too, so the 3 of us walked back to the truck and went back to the motel and left the boys to fend for themselves. ;) Came back to the motel and just been relaxin' since then. Waitin' for the boys to call and say they need a ride. lol :) I'm sure they'll be wastey face, but I'm sure they had a good time.
Other than that, not too much to report on. We've had an awesome time in Manhattan so far. We immediately missed being here as soon as we pulled into town. It's sad to think that we have to go "home" to Lyons, instead of the other way around like it used to be. *sigh* Oh well..... It's still a lot of fun to come and visit. :) Not sure what we're doing tomorrow. Probably sleeping in a bit and then getting lunch and heading home, would be my guess. Well, the boys just called, so I better go get them! :)
Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!!
Love
