December, December!

Can't believe it's December already! Feels like I was just saying that about September not too long ago! :)
Not a whole lot has been going on with us lately. But, that's ok too. Just trying to survive Christmas and get onto the New Year! I'm excited to be able to experience G's first Christmas this year! I feel incredibly blessed to be a mother, and to have her! She's my greatest blessing by far. I can't wait to see her face light up when we get our tree up next week. I know she's going to be mesmerized by it. lol Am I the only one who hasn't started Christmas shopping yet?? lol We don't have a lot of people to buy for this year, mainly because we just don't have a lot of extra money, so it's gonna be pretty minimal this year. I told Justin, as long as Griffyn has a good Christmas, that's all that matters to me. And, I also know she's really only gonna care about ripping off the paper! She probably won't give two hoots about whatever is in the package. :) BUT, we are going to make sure her 1st Christmas, and every Christmas, is the best for her. I'm really looking forward to starting Christmas traditions with her and with our little family. Even though she's still little, I don't care, we'll still do it! :) I have a few in mind. We'll see what others we come up with between now and then.

In other news, I have lost 3 more pounds! I am officially down 69 pounds!!!!!!!!!! Woo I was so excited to see that today. I actually haven't weighed myself in awhile because the last few times I have, it's just been the same number! But, I decided what the heck today and just did it, and I was very pleasantly surprised! :) So! That means that I have only THREE pounds to go to be at goal #2! :) Oh I can't wait. It's been sooooo long since I have seen the "1" instead of the "2" I can't wait!!!! I'm so so close now that I am really determined to get this done! But anyway, just wanted to give a quick update on that, since I haven't said anything about it in awhile. :) I also want to thank all the friends who commented on FB and who sent me txt messages to tell me how proud they are of me and I really appreciate that they get just as excited about it as I do. It really makes me feel good. :)

We still, yes STILL, haven't heard anything about AD. Justin decided not to check on it this past week so he's just going to wait until he goes to drill this coming weekend and see what they say, if they have an update on it. He's also going to find out what happens if they don't have an answer for him by the end of Dec. (when 90 days will be up from when they submitted it this last time) since "supposedly" that's all the longer signatures are good for. We'll see. We have discussed other options for either if this doesn't work out, or if we still don't have an answer. We are not just going to sit around and wait forever for the Marine Corps to figure things out. We are giving them until the end of the month before we explore other options seriously.  Justin has applied for other jobs and he is going to work on his resume' tomorrow when he gets up (he's working tonight) and send it in for a couple of government jobs he has found, and we'll see if/where that takes us.  We have discussed a few other options as well, but like I said, nothing seriously yet. So! Hopefully we'll hear something, either way, so we can begin the next chapter of ours lives! :)

Other than that, not a whole lot going on in our world! Which is A-OK too. We kinda like living the "boring" life sometimes. :) I hope you all are doing wonderful & enjoying your weekend! :)

2. I am thankful for the lighted Christmas parade I got to take Griffyn to tonight. She was amazed! :)
