Down 8lbs (actually a little more, but I'm just gonna call it 8) and down 9.5 inches!!! I was kinda bummed about not losing that extra 2 lbs, but I gotta keep reminding myself that at least I was down 8, and I obviously lost inches too, so I'm pretty happy with it. Just means I have 7 lbs to try to lose by our 5k though! Yikes! Hopefully I can pull that off. :) Soooo looks like Fit Feb paid off! Now onto March's fitness! I'm gonna change it up and do some different stuff, keep my body guessing. I've been considering getting a shake weight. Lol they look hilarious doing it, but I figure I"ll only be in the privacy of my own home doing it, so at least no one else will have to see it. I dunno, I'm still debating. I know I shook one in the store one time for less than 30 secs and I could honestly feel it the next day, so I'm convinced it actually does work. We'll see. I would love to tone up my arms!! So, now we are on the official countdown to our 5k! I only 17 days!! Can't believe it's almost here already. We started planning it back in Nov or Dec and it seemed so far away and now it's just around the corner! :) I'm pretty excited for it.
Justin called the recruiter yesterday and he said he's more than willing to help him, however, the guy he called USED to be in Salina but he's now back in Manhattan. This guy's boss works in Salina though, so he is supposed to be getting in touch with him and letting Justin know today or tomorrow. They are hoping to get him in next week to get things going. Hopefully that will happen. That's about all I know about that, at this point.
Not much else going on. I get to start the Dave Ramsey class tonight! I'm really, really excited about it! I can't wait to see what it will do for us! :)
Well, here's to losing at least 7 lbs in 17 days!! Ahhh I'm gonna have to work my butt off!! But I know I can do it! :) Then, it'll be the big 15-20 by May 17th! It's getting there! Slowly but surely! There was a point when I thought I was just destined to be fat, destined to NEVER see a number below that dreaded and awful 200 mark. And, I've done it! I've surpassed it! I've been to the bottom, I can only go up from here!!! :)
1. I am thankful for my dedication to this process, that I've actually been very committed to getting healthy and losing the weight I've needed to lose for some time now.
2. I am thankful to have such an incredible support system who's always, always been there for me and encouraged me every step of the way, especially when I wanted to give up, when I didn't even believe in myself.
3. I am thankful that SPRING is here!!! (at least I hope it's here to stay!)
