It's been way to long!

Oooooook so. I've had a lot of problems with my computer and my blog lately! It's made me sad that I haven't been able to post! :( We have a Mac (LOVE!) and the power cord died on it last week or so, so we've had to use our PC (LAME!!!!!) and I just have to say I miss my Mac soooo soooo much. I hate using a PC! Hopefully we'll be able to order a power cord soon so we can fix that issue. Then our PC decided to quit letting me use Google (or any search engine) for some reason, so therefore I couldn't log into my blog either! Ugh! It was a nightmare, but we finally got that issue resolved as well.

So, I'll catch you up on all that has happened since my last post. (forever ago!!) My SIL, Heidi, asked ME to be her MOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have NO idea how excited I am for this job! I have never ever ever been asked to be anyone's Maid/Matron of Honor and I am soooo thrilled & honored that she would give me such an important, special job! It made me feel really, really good that she thinks that much of me! :) Not gonna lie, when she asked me, I cried. I am just so happy and excited and it means a lot to me that she wanted me to do it! :) So, with this role, I am SO excited to help her with the wedding plans, go to bridal shows (yay!), plan her bridal shower and her bachelorette party! OMG it's going to be amazing. I can't wait. I am so excited to be included in such a big way! I am always happy to help anyone with anything, but I'm not one to butt in where I may not be wanted, so I tend to just hang back unless I'm asked to do something or help with something, and I'm just ecstatic that she has asked me to help her and to be her MOH! If you haven't figured it out, I'm so beyond excited and happy!!!! They have set an official date too! Sept. 29th, 2012!  Yay yay yay! I've been combing through Pintrest getting so many ideas on wedding stuff, shower stuff, bach. party stuff.... I just can't wait!! It feels really good to be important enough to someone that they want you to have this role in their special day, and they want you to help them plan things and they want you to do all the fun stuff with the parties and just EVERYTHING! Oh oh oh I can't wait. :) So! Bottom line, we're in wedding planning mode and I have decided that, while it's super fun to plan your own wedding, it's almost more fun to be involved in the planning of someone else's! lol you get all the excitement of planning everything, but it's a WHOLE lot less stressful!! lol :)
We went to Manhattan this past weekend for the embarrassing KSU/OU game. It was homecoming also. We were so excited to be there and we really had a great time, even though they lost... terribly. We got to go down to Aggieville and hang out, have lunch with a friend. Then we went to the game and met up with a few other friends as well. After the game, we were exhausted and so was G, so we just decided to head home. We were amazed at HOW much we missed it there. It made us very nostalgic, to say the least... :( We both agreed that it just felt like 'home' being there again. Here's a few pics!

 Justin's aunt wanted to do a "Haunted House" this past weekend to raise money for The Relay For Life. So we helped out with that. It was pretty fun to do. Wish we would've had more people, but it was still a good time. :) Griffyn dressed up as a kitty cat. She was pretty cute if I do say so myself.

I just love her. :) I'm such a lucky and blessed Momma! :) She's actually kinda sickly at the moment. We both have super stuffy, runny noses. It sucks! I hate that she seems like it's hard to breathe when we lay her down and she has her binkie. She loves her binkie, but she really struggles to breathe when it's in her mouth. :( She doesn't seem to feel bad, really. Just has a stuffy nose and is sneezing and it runs. She seems to rub her eyes too, so makes me wonder if it's allergies, since I have them BAD. I dunno... hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Poor little monkey....

Well, other than that, not much to update on right now. So excited that it's NOVEMBER!!! We are only a few weeks away from Thanksgiving and then a few more weeks away from Christmas!!! This is definitely my favorite time of year. I'm so excited to have G's "1st's" this year!! :) Justin and I are constantly talking about how blessed we are to have her in our lives. She's just made our little family even better than we even thought it could be! :) Love her..... We are looking forward to the USMC ball this weekend! 1. I am thankful for small miracles, and that God is constantly reminding me that He's always with me, and that He will always give us what we need.
2. I am thankful that we have been able to spend so much time together recently as a family. It has been wonderful.
3. I am excited for my SIL's upcoming wedding and I'm so so so thankful she chose ME to be her MOH! :)
