I dropped Griffyn off in Great Bend with my step-mom that morning, not gonna lie, I cried the whole way home. :( Then Heidi & Tara & I loaded up and made the long drive to Topeka. When we got there we checked into the hotel and then started getting ready. :) We had a really great time! It was awesome that so many of Justin's family were able to make it this year! It always makes it more fun when more people we know (ok, more people I know) are there! :) Here's some pics....

| Us girls! :) |
We headed home Sun. morning after we got done with all the stuff Justin had to do, and of course after stopping to eat at YUMMY Red Robin! I love that place! :) I was definitely anxious to get back and pick up my baby girl. She was so excited and happy to see us, it made my heart melt! :)
Justin found out this weekend that his paperwork has been moving through the system! :) Only a few more stops at different desks and we should have an answer soon. (Fingers crossed!!) Hopefully everything continues to run smoothly from here. haha!! :) Getting more and more anxious to get it done and find out what the next chapter of our lives is going to hold! :)
Other than that, not too much else going on! Can't believe we had our first snow last night! Nothing actually stuck to the ground, but there sure were some huge flakes! :) I'm so excited that the holidays are fast approaching. I love this time of year. It's my favorite. I love getting together with everyone and just enjoying each other. Of course, I'm even more excited about this year's holiday's because it will be Griffyn's firsts! We've already been discussing what kind of Christmas tree to get! Haha this will be the first year Justin & I have had a tree together, too! :) We're just hoping that Ben (our cat) won't mess with it too bad. We shall see! I think we're going to wait until after Thanksgiving to get one and put it up. I'm really looking forward to it though! Can't believe Thanksgiving is only a couple of weeks away!
I also can't believe our baby girl will be 6 MONTHS OLD a week from tomorrow!!! Where has the time gone??? She is doing so many new things all the time.Just last week she could sit up with some help but would fall over, back or to the side, after only a few seconds. The last few days she's been able to sit up all by herself for several minutes! I can't believe how quick she's growing! She also has figured out how to scoot. lol she can spin herself in a circle when she's on her tummy and she can scoot herself backwards. It's only a matter of time before she'll be all over this house, now!! :) We also think she's starting to teethe. I think she will have a tooth any day now!! It really does go by so, so quick. I'm definitely enjoying every single minute of it, though.
Justin goes back to working nights (already!!) tonight.... Makes me sad... as usual!! :( Can't believe it's that time again already... Hopefully it'll go by as quickly as his time on days did! :)
Well, I suppose that's really all there is to update on for now! I hope you all are enjoying your time with loved ones and are looking forward to the holidays as much as I am!! :)
1. I am thankful for the much cooler weather and getting to snuggle up with blankets on the couch!
2. I am thankful that my husband has Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day off this year!!
3. I am thankful that he is able to provide for us so that I can stay home with our beautiful baby girl.
Love
