:) And down again!

FINALLY folks! I'm down another 2 lbs! I'm officially down 66 lbs! WOOT! I'm pretty psyched. 6 lbs to go to be at goal #2!!!! :) It's so so close! :) It's definitely got me motivated even more. Yay yay yay! Pretty excited, if you couldn't tell. Especially because I haven't been AS diligent as I have in the past about working out, but apparently it's still working for me. This is such a great feeling. It makes me feel like WHEN I get to my ultimate goal I'm going to be able to maintain it pretty easy, since I have easily maintained thus far. Since I started this journey, I've never been disappointed and gone the "wrong" way on the scale. Or if I did, in the beginning (since I really can't remember) it was never by more than 1 or 2 lbs, and you flucuate that daily anyway. This is exciting news! It means I'm not going to be a "slave" to weightloss or even maintaining for the rest of my life. This is so so great. It definitely isn't coming off as quick as I've wanted or hoped (I've said this many times) BUT, I also have to be honest and say I haven't worked NEAR as hard as I could, so I'll take it!!!

Let's see, what else has been happening this week. Well, I got my ball dress on Monday! Pretty psyched to have that finally, and it fits beautifully! Here's a pic...

I'm even more excited about the ball now! :) So at least that is taken care of. Now I just have to figure out which shoes and jewelry I'm going to wear and I should be set! Heidi did my hair and make up here, when we were just playing around, getting ideas, I think it turned out great! My hair sucks at holding curl, but we've got that figured out for the ACTUAL ball so I think it will look great! :) Can't wait! I'm really glad that the fam gets to join us this year. I know they will all have a great time, too.

We had the Fire Dept open house on Monday night! It was pretty cool. They couldn't do the fire truck rides this year because of the City Council saying they had "insurance" issues, so instead they did a jaws of life demo and also a fire demo! They set a car on fire and then pulled up in the truck and put it out! Here's a couple pics from that.

Our fridge went out on Sunday evening. We took the frozen stuff over to my in-laws, and then we put the stuff from the fridge in a cooler (we never have much in there, lol) and we were finally able to get a new one yesterday! So it's pretty exciting to have a fridge again. :) And it's even bigger than the one we had before. It's the little things! haha

Justin gets to go talk to our attny tomorrow about our lawsuit. We are finally going to be able to go to court over it on Nov. 3rd. It's about time! It's been a year and a half since everything happened so we're hoping that it will get resolved quickly!! I won't get into specifics until afterwards, but WE are the ones suing, just FYI. :) Please pray that we get our money back!

Hopefully he will get some news from his unit tomorrow too. He's been waiting, wanted to wait 10 days, before he called again about it, so hopefully they will have some news, and POSITIVE news, lol. I just pray it didn't get sent back again. Now that we finally (actually!!) got it going, let's hope it's continued on this time. We shall see, yet again.

Well, not much else to update on right now. Our friend AJ that's been home from Afghanistatn has to go back on Sunday. :( At least he should be home for good (at least from this deployment) before the first of the year, so that's exciting, too. Justin has the weekend off! FINALLY!! Haha it's been over a month since he's had a weekend off, and I remember saying back in Sept. he wouldn't have another weekend off until middle of Oct, and here it is already! Time is sure flying. I think Griffyn will be crawling before long. She scoots all over the place, she rolls over like a pro, and has for awhile, and in the last few days she's started bringing up her knees when she lays on her tummy. I can't believe she will be 5 months old already on Monday!! It's soooo crazy how fast this time has gone.... It feels like I just found out we were having her! She's growing so fast........
