Ok so... we didn't learn anything this weekend. They supposedly called to check on it and had to wait for Battalion level to call them back... riiiggghhhttt..... so they didn't call back this weekend (supposedly) so they were supposed to try again on Monday and see if they could get ahold of anyone and they were going to call Justin to let him know. No one called. Therefore, tomorrow, on his day off, he is officially requesting MAST. Which means, filing a formal complaint and skipping everyone in his COC and going straight to the CO. He says this process HAS to be completed within 30 days of him saying he is requesting MAST, so we'll see. He says it's a very serious thing that people could lose their jobs in the USMC over if they don't get it done, so hopefully it will get us somewhere, but doesn't sound like it's going to be very quickly, by any means, but then again, nothing has been that way yet! So, that's where we are at with that. It will be interesting to see how tomorrow goes and also how quickly this happens and ultimately, what gets resolved from it. That's all I know at this point.
People ask me all the time what I am doing to lose weight. The answer is very simple things... I drink quite a bit of water, (although probably not as much as I should), Yes, I am still running even though I don't update FB or my blog about it. I just thought it kind of got redundant to keep doing that, so I just stopped, but yes, I am still at it! I also eat everything I always have, I just eat a lot less of it. Another thing I do is making a very conscious effort to chew everything I put in my mouth 8-10 times. This is actually a lot more difficult than you would think! BUT, it helps you to slooowwww down and really concentrate on eating and what/how much you are putting into your body. I also have been doing squats, sumo squats, jumping jacks, arm circles, push ups, sit ups, bicycles, planks, leg lifts, wall sits, calf raises & kettlebell. I am also thinking about getting back into doing Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred DVD, but I haven't started that again yet. I was doing that before I got pregnant and it will kick your butt!! So yeah, that's what I do, it's working for me so far! :) I know I probably would lose more weight if I ate better than I do (even though I don't eat terrible now) but my problem is I'm a reeaaalllyyy picky eater, so I probably wouldn't be able to find much that I could eat..... so, for now I'll stick with what I've been doing, because it's been working! :) But anyway, I figured that since I get asked this question often, I would just spell it out for you. :) There ya go! :) I'm also gonna do the water detox cleanse again and see what that will do for me. I lose 8 lbs overnight before! :) I also have only had 2 soda's in the past 2 weeks! For those that know me, this is HUUUGGEEEEEE!!! I'm hoping to be able to keep that up, only having a soda rarely, or not at all, but we'll see how that goes. lol
