I ran 2 miles this afternoon, litttttllleeeee bit chilly!!! I'm so ready for it to warm up!! :) I also did the love handle workout and called it good. lol A little sore from yesterday! I suppose that's good right?? :)
Well week 1 down anyway, feels good. Not sure if I've lost any weight or not, I'm trying not to weigh myself, hoping to make it to the end of the month, but we'll see how long that lasts. lol. I'm excited to see where I'm at by then. It sure feels good so far. Just over a month until our 5k! I'm nervous but excited for it! I think it's gonna be great.
Well, Justin requested mast a few weeks ago, they just in the last few days, finally got things figured out with his chain of command and what he is supposed to do to get that process started. He had to fill out a form and send it up. He should hear from his CO tomorrow about that. It's amazing that once he mentioned requesting mast his chain of command took it seriously and checked out the status of his package. It is at MLG, which means it has 2 more stops before we should know an answer. According to the order it shouldn't be at one desk longer than 10 days, which is something he's going to discuss with his CO tomorrow (or whenever he gets to finally talk to him). But, hopefully since he has started this official process, they will take him seriously and they will keep up with his package a LOT better than they have been and it'll finally get resolved, one way or another. Of course we are hoping for great news, but we're trying to prepare ourselves for bad news too, just in case. We're just really hoping we haven't waited all this time for nothing.... but I guess if he gets a "no" answer then at least we will know. Like I mentioned before, he is still debating about the OCS route again too, should know more about that in March, if we don't know anything about AD before then. We'll see.... It's still a waiting game, but at least the request mast process has started and he should hopefully hear from the CO in the next day or so. I'll keep ya updated on that! :)
Got our taxes filed this week, excited to get that return back so we can be debt free, put money in savings and have some to do something fun with! I'm excited for that. :) Griffyn still hasn't crawled yet but she is so so close! We expect it any day, but she just hasn't gotten brave enough yet. She's standing up more and more so maybe she will just skip the crawling step! lol We shall see!! No more new teeth as of yet. :) She's having her 9 months pics taken this weekend. She technically has another week before she's 9 months (already!!!) but our photographer is running a special for valentine's day so I'm excited to get her pics done again. :) It's always a great time. :) These will be indoors, which is new for us! I'm excited to see how they will turn out! :) Other than that, not too much new happening with us! Justin has changed crews (again!) so he should've gone back to days this week, but instead he now is going back to nights. Boooooo. No big plans, as of yet, for V/day. Justin will be working, but we may try to do something this weekend for it. His b/day is in a few weeks too, so I've got some more brainstorming to do about that! I have a few ideas, but nothing official yet. :)
Well that's about all there is to update on now, nothing too exciting really. :) I hope you all are doing wonderful!!
1. I am thankful that my husband works so hard ALL.THE.TIME. to provide for us, but also to be the best employee he can be. He always, always goes above and beyond what's required of him, just because that's the kind of person and work ethic he has. I love it.
2. I am thankful for getting to play with G every single day! She gets more and more interactive all the time and she is seriously Soooo much fun! I love this and I love her so so much.
3. I am thankful that I get to wake up in this life, every single day. I'm blessed. Even if I may not be happy with every aspect of everything in our life, I am blessed to have the people and things that I do have and I never forget that.
Love
