Just some things on my mind today.... already.
I'm irritated at the dang scale for not moving!!!! Ugh. I just feel like I do soooooo good and yet it doesn't freaking move!!!! How am I ever supposed to stay motivated if I can't see ANY results?!? I mean sure, it did move the other day, but not since then. Idk what the problem is, but it's irritating.to.say.the.least! I guess I'm just gonna have to step up my game and start working out more! I just really didn't want to have to get to the point of workouts taking over my life, ya know what I mean? I figured ok, I run every Mon/Wed/Fri and I bike ever Tues/Thurs. that's definitely a hell of a lot more than I used to do, and yet, I'm seeing little improvement. Sure I lost 51lbs so far, but it won't move past that! *Sigh* It just doesn't make me want to go work my butt off (literally) when I'm not seeing the results I want. I guess maybe I should start taking pictures every week or two weeks and do comparisons, or take measurements so when I'm not actually losing any weight, maybe I will be able to see I'm losing it in inches. Idk.......... I just need something. I need these last 20lbs to be off and I'd be feeling GREAT! I would weigh less than that certain # I want to reach, and less than I have in YEARS. I'm just gonna have to start running every day I guess, instead of every other, then maybe just biking still every other. Idk. I've gotta do something. Cuz what I'm doing now, just isn't giving me the results I want.
Another thing that really isn't that big of a deal, but is driving me flippin' CRAZY lately is people that don't understand that just because someone is in a branch, ANY branch of the military, DOES NOT MAKE THEM A SOLDIER!! I guess it finally just really set me off today because people are posting the "re-post this" thing about all the Navy Seals that were killed. All these people seem to think they were soldiers. For those of you who aren't aware, there is a difference, a big difference. It's not meant to be offensive to soldiers for the other branches to not want to be called a soldier, but it is offensive for the other branches to be called soldiers, because they aren't. The Marine Corps has MARINES, the Navy has SAILORS, the Airforce has AIRMEN, the Coast Guard has COAST GUARDSMEN. Just because someone is in the military, does not make them a soldier. It may sound petty, or whatever, but it's true. In the Marine Corps, if you call a Marine a Soldier, he will quickly correct you and also tell you he didn't go through 13 weeks of bootcamp to be called a soldier. If you weren't aware of this before, pllleeeassseeee be aware now! :) Like I said, I'm not trying to be rude or petty or whatever, I'm just speaking the truth. If you want to lump them into a category together, call them Troops. *Rant Over*
Sorry to have such a Negative Nancy post today, I really do hate to be that way, but the weight/scale/workout thing is really getting irritating! I just wanna see some results.... Is that really too much to ask??? Maybe I'm gaining muscle, that's why I'm not actually losing anything in the past few days. Ugh... I guess I just have to keep reminding myself you shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs in a week. But why?!? Why can't all of it just come off!! :) haha Let's hope this coming week is a great one. Here's to losing at LEAST 2 lbs this week.... (But not gonna lie, I'm hoping for more!) :) :)
Love
UPDATE!!! So went to my in-laws earlier and their scale is the one I have been using to officially update my weight & their scale said I was down a pound!! :) So I went on a 13 mile bike ride. Ugh. I about died, buuuut I made it!!! :) :) I have also received a TON of "encouragement" messages, on fb & through text. Thank you!! My attitude has turned around once again. In all seriousness, I couldn't do this without you guys!!!!
