Hmmmmmm well let's see. We've been busy the past few days. I've been running/biking or both every day. It has felt really, really good. :) I have also only drank water this week. That's a pretty big accomplishment for me. I can't say THAT part feels good, lol but hopefully it will pay off! I'm waiting to weigh myself until Friday. As of this past weekend I was down 52 lbs total. Hopefully it's at LEAST one more by Friday. We shall see...
I'm going to the zoo tomorrow with my SIL & her kiddos and then we're going to Wichita to Olive Garden! I'm super pumped. It's like my favorite place evvvvvveeerrr. On second thought, maybe I won't be down another pound by Friday. lol Let's hope! I'm looking forward to it though. I'm hoping that G will cooperate while we're out and about. For some reason she doesn't like to leave the house. She can be perfectly fine at home and even in the car going wherever we are going, but as soon as we get there (doesn't matter where we go) she just becomes a mess. She's super fussy and nothing makes her happy. I'm not sure what to do to resolve that problem. I sure wish I did though!
Saturday is the JFJ benefit!!! I am sooooooo excited to this. I haven't sang in front of a bunch of people for quite awhile, (other than karaoke but that doesn't really count) and it's for an amazing cause, so of course I'm pumped. I wish my hubby didn't have to go to drill so he could be there too. But I'm looking forward to seeing what he learns at drill about the AD situation.
He got an e-mail last week from his unit saying that they forgot to have him sign something before they sent it off... (again) This would be the 3rd or 4th time they've sent off his paperwork, and it's been returned by the next desk up because something was either wrong or missing. I'm not sure how you can screw that up so much and so often and still have a job, but what do I know? So he got it signed and faxed back to them and the supposedly sent it off... (again) I just can't believe what a mess this has turned into. But I can't say I'm surprised either. Had we not had friends on AD, and one that is actually in Admin, we probably would've given up by now, thinking if it's this bad in the reserves, it's got to be even worse on active duty, but they assure us that's not the case. Aj can't believe how many times and how much Justin's admin section has screwed us over. The only thing that worries me now (aside from whether or not they actually did send it off RIGHT this time) is that it's now going to take 6 months from now. They told us in the beginning that it would be 6 months or less before we got an answer and that it very rarely takes 6 months. Wellllllll we are about 30 days from it being 6 months since he sent it off the first time, and it's barely left the first of about 5 desks it has to go through. So, I'm hoping it's not 6 months from now, but I would also be surprised if it's done completely in the next 30 days, but maybe they will surprise me. hahahaha! yeah right. I think there's a reason for everything though, and I think this is just giving us more time to be around family & friends before we have to move across country and aren't around except once or twice a year. So, I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I just hope we aren't still sitting here in January! :)
Anyway, not much else to update on for now I suppose. Hope you all are doing well. :)
Love
