I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Friday! It's now the weekend!! (For you working people! ;)) We had a pretty uneventful day. Woke up pretty early, G & I hung out while Justin slept since he is working tonight. He got up about 11:30 and hung out with us for the rest of the day. Really we just lounged around the house, but it was nice! :) He left to work this evening and G and I went on a walk. We walked 3 miles, then my shoes were hurting my feet so we headed home. First time I've worn my real tennis shoes since before I got pregnant. (I run in 5 finger Vibrams) Plus it was lightning and looked like it could rain any minute, so we figured it would be best to head on home! At least we got some exercise in.
I haven't ran all week! I'm having withdrawals!! haha I will probably try to go tomorrow. I have at least done something (walking/biking) every day this week though, so at least I've been doing other things. I'm anxious to get back to running though. It's just a little harder when Justin works nights 'cause I usually go in the evenings and leave G with him. But I could still go on the days he is off. I will check my weight probably tomorrow to see if I've lost any more since the beginning of the week. I haven't had much soda this week, (none in the last several days) but I also haven't had a whole lot of water, not as much as I should anyway!! I really need to figure out a way to get better at that. Maybe I should just get a big jug and make sure to drink at least 1-2 of them. That would be easier, for me, I think. I do think it's amazing though that the only thing I've changed about my eating habits is just eating a little bit less than I used to, and making sure not to get distracted while I'm eating so I don't overeat, so I stop when I get full. It's worked!! It's been nice to not go on a "diet" or restrict myself from being able to eat the things I like. Instead I just eat less of it. It's worked so far!! :) I'm sure if I drastically changed my diet, as far as what I eat, I probably would lose more weight and quicker, but I also think I'd get tired of it, of not being able to just eat what I want. So I'll stick with what I'm doing. After all, it is working, so why change it!? :) I'm soooo excited about being 7lbs away from goal #1! I can't believe it!! I'm just really wanting to get as much of this weight off as I can, before winter, because I don't have any way to get real cardio in, in the winter months. My ultimate goal is to be down to where I want to be by January! But we'll see how that goes. If we're going to be living anywhere near the beach by next summer (and hopefully we are) I gotta be ready!!! :) Not bikini ready by any means, but as long as I don't look like a beached whale, we'll be good!! :) haha
The other news I have to report is Justin got promoted at work again!!!!! I am so dang proud of him. He has accomplished so much in the year and a half he's been at his job. He just got promoted this past May as well and now again. They think so much of him and all the hard work he does out there, and it shows! So, he will be starting his new job out there in the next few weeks, and he also got another raise!! I'm so proud of him, have I mentioned that yet?? :)

Other than that, not too much to report on. Pretty uneventful day, but sometimes that's just perfectly fine. :) I suppose I'll leave you with my 3 things before I head off to take my bath and go to bed!
1. I am thankful for getting to spend time with my hubby & of course my baby girl, together today!
2. I'm proud of my husband for getting promoted!!
3. I am thankful for the rain we are getting right now!
