CHIEFSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! What a fun day we had yesterday!! We left about 12:30 or so, G stayed with her Nana. Got to KC about 4:30, then sat in crazy traffic for awhile. Once we got there we got parked and we grilled up some burgers and had a couple of beers and just hung out in the parking lot and tailgated for awhile.

We went into the game about 6:30 or so. Mark wanted to show me his brick that he got personalized last year for being a season ticket holder....

And I thought this was just funny...

So after that we went into the stadium and found our seats. They were really good! We were pretty high up but we could see everything perfectly. It was nice!

So yeah! We had a really great time. I was super pumped, since it was my first NFL game! Even though they lost it was still a great time. :) After the game we left and drove home, got back about 2:30am. I was sooooooo happy to see my sweet baby girl!! She slept 'til about 10:45am so that was nice too since I didn't get to go to bed until late!

Once we got up and around, while Justin was still sleeping since he is working tonight, and we went over to my in-laws since my SIL and her kiddos were in town! It was fun to hang out with them for the afternoon. We got to chat about a lot of things. Came home about 4 or so, so we could hang out with Justin before he left for work. After he left, we just hung out 'til I put G to bed a little bit ago. Pretty eventful day! lol

Well, I have been weighing myself on my in-laws digital scale, mainly because I did find out it's super close to what the doctor's scale was, but today it just kept saying "error"... bummer... so I have no idea how much I've lost (if any). Maybe that's a good thing! Haha maybe I need to take a break from weighing and give myself a little bit of time. Ugh Idk, I just like to know. No matter what it says, I like to know. We have a regular dial scale at our house, but honestly I can get on that one and then get on theirs and it's completely different, but 4+ lbs. I feel like the dial one NEVER moves from the same spot it's always at, yet I can see a difference in numbers on theirs. That's why I like digital ones!! haha Maybe I just need to invest in another one. (We had one once but I fried it, that's a different story!!) Or get them a new battery for theirs!! :)

You know, I've thought a lot over the last week or so about the fact that anything in your life that you want to change, you honestly will not change a thing, or at least it won't last, until you get to the point that you want it bad enough! Take weight loss for instance. If you don't reeaalllyyy want it bad enough you will just find excuse after excuse not to work out, not to drink water, not to eat better etc. You will just say you "can't". You will always have a reason why it "just won't happen." I had this problem for a long time. I've mentioned it before as well, I always had excuses. Excuses about why I gained so much weight, excused about why I couldn't lose all that weight. But at the end of the day, that's ALL that they were. EXCUSES. When I finally got to the point that I was serious about it, that I wanted to be healthy, and thinner and feel better about myself emotionally and physically, I did something about it! 55+ lbs lost later, I can say it has been completely worth it! It can apply to other parts of your life, too, though. If you want something bad enough, you will find ANY way to get there. If you don't want it bad enough, you won't.

Well I suppose that's about all there is tonight. Sure wish Justin would've actually been off this weekend, since it is his weekend off, but I'm thankful I did get to spend at least yesterday with him and will get to spend most of tomorrow with him, once he gets up. I hope you all are enjoying your last few days of August!!! It's almost past us! :)
1. I'm thankful that my hubby works his butt off for us, even if it means we don't get to see him as much as we sure would like to!
2. I appreciate all the people who have given me sooooooo much encouragement in this journey!
3. I am super happy that I got to experience the CHIEFS game yesterday! We had such a great time! :)
Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!!
Love
