Did it!

Sorry I missed yesterday! We had a busy day and I was also just enjoying having my husband off for the first day in 7! :) G and I got up and hung out most of the day yesterday while Justin slept since he had gotten off at 7am. Then I went for a run. First time running on the pavement, actually around town a bit, instead of out on the track at the HS. It actually felt really good. I could've gone a lot farther than I did had I not gotten a side stitch. It hurt REALLY bad so I ended up having to quit after 2.7 miles. Not bad though. It actually was a bit easier not concentrating so much on just going around and around and around the track. When you run around the neighborhood or wherever there's other things to look at and you don't concentrate on how far you're going. It felt good. I can't wait to do it again. I was actually sore today (but in a good way!) so I felt like I actually did something! :) So then we ordered pizza and Heidi & Jarid came over and we watched football for awhile and then had a fire in the fire pit. It was sooooo nice to sit and relax and just have a good time. :)

I found out yesterday that I am officially down 62 lbs!!!! That means I am at 209! :) Omg that felt SOOOO amazing! So I am at goal #1. I only have 10 lbs to go to be at goal #2, weighing less than 200! I decided I probably need to set another short term goal, before making it to my "ultimate goal" (170!) that way I don't get frustrated. So I'll have to figure out what that is, in the next little while. But yeah! I was pretty pumped to see that number FINALLY on the scale! Wow does it feel amazing. :) When I get back over to my in-laws I'm going to take a pic of that number on the scale, just so I can relish it even more! :)

So today we got up and we went to Hutch to take Justin's USMC uniforms to the dry cleaners and we got a few groceries we needed. Then we went to Cherry Berry. :) YUM! Got home awhile ago and put G down for a nap and Justin is taking a nap now too. I've been going through pics trying to decide which pic I wanna use to put G in a photo contest to win a free photo shoot! I have to have the photo submitted by midnight on Fri. It should be fun. The contest is a boy and a girl 0-18 years! There will be quite the variety. But, it's based on votes so hopefully I can get enough people to vote for her so we can do the shoot! I think it would be fun. I decided (even if we don't win) that I'm going to try to get her pics taken every 3 months at least for the first year. So I need to get them done soon! :) Can't believe she's 11 days away from being 4 months old!! :( She's growing up so quick!

Not much else on the agenda today. Gonna go for a family walk later, pretty excited for that, and then probably just hang out and enjoy having Justin off again today. It's back to work tomorrow and Thurs and then he will be in Topeka all weekend for drill. :P Hopefully he will learn something about his paperwork this weekend, but I'm not holding my breath either.......

2. I have really, really enjoyed having my husband off the past 2 days! We sure missed him!
