Ok, so I was introduced to this site tonight. If you haven't checked it out, YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD! Holy cow, I seriously have just spent the last at least 2.5 hours on here! It's amazing! There are soooo many awesome ideas and just STUFF to look at! I'm excited just thinking about all the projects I will be doing! :) Definitely check it out!
So, we didn't learn anything on the AD stuff except that the Cpl working on it... HASN'T SENT IT IN YET. Not that we didn't know that already because Aj checked, but considering this Cpl has been telling Justin for months that it's been sent in and kicked back for one reason or another, or that he was "sending it off that day" etc, it's unbelievable to us. Are we surprised? No. Irritated? EXTREMELY. He is going to call that kids boss, a Ssgt tomorrow (he wasn't in the office today) and see what he says about it. He's going to let him know he has until drill (next weekend) to give him an answer and be able to prove it's where he says it is, or he's requesting mast. The only reason he's giving him until then is because the Ssgt hasn't had a clue about any of this. Not to mention, all of Justin's paperwork is in, so once the Ssgt knows about it, all it SHOULD take is putting it in the mail, so giving him over a week, should be plenty of time. The Cpl told Justin he hasn't sent it off yet because he's been waiting for 2 other guys in the unit to get their paperwork done so he can send them off at the same time. He OBVIOUSLY has forgotten that Justin turned his in almost 7 months ago. I can hardly wait to hear what his boss thinks about all of this. We shall see. So, definitely less than exciting news on that front, but hopefully we are going to get something done about it in the very near future. If not, I'm sure Aj will have a few words for them when he goes up to pin Justin Sgt next weekend, since he himself is an Admin Chief and definitely knows it shouldn't be near as difficult as they are making it. Once again..... we will see......
Not too exciting of a day. Got up this morning and hung out with G for awhile. Then I went to watch my niece and nephew for the afternoon and G stayed home with her daddy. Went on a bike ride tonight, and that's been about the extent of it. Kinda sad Justin has to work days tomorrow (on his day off), but what can ya do? We are gonna go out to eat tomorrow night, so I'm looking forward to that! :)
Still haven't lost or gained anymore weight. Which is good, I suppose, but I just hate being at a standstill. But I also know that I haven't done everything I should've done to make that happen either, so the fact that I haven't gained whatsoever, is good at least. I have vowed to do better though! I've still been working out, just not going as far as I was before, and not every single day, religiously, like I was. It's been about every other day, which is still good I suppose. I need to drink more water (like usual) as well. I am thinking about taking pics again in the next day or so, since it's been a month (already!!) since I took the last ones, just to see where I'm at. Sooooo at this point, still holding strong at 62 lbs down!!
Well, tomorrow is G's 4 month appointment! I can't believe it's that time again already!!! We should get the go ahead on starting baby food! My baby girl is getting so big!!!!!! I'm excited to see where she's at though and what doc thinks. Her eyes are finally 100% better. I don't ever have to wipe them out anymore. Praise the Lord! I know she was definitely getting sick of that. I'm so glad they are all better. I weighed her at my in-laws the other night and she was 14 lbs. So, we'll see what she is tomorrow! :) They say she should double her birth weight by 4 months, 6 at the latest, so if she is 14 lbs, that's right on track! :) Such a big girl already!
Not much else to report on, I don't think. Here's to hoping (still) for at least something positive coming out of Justin's call into his unit tomorrow. Happy Thursday! :)
1. I'm thankful for having a husband who takes so much time with our baby girl. It was soooo sweet to watch him give her a bath tonight. He's such a wonderful daddy.
2. I'm thankful for the FALL weather! :)
3. I am excited about starting in my small group tomorrow!!
Love
